Logging Into Your CIT Bank Account
Log in to CIT Bank accounts with the following steps:

- Click Sign in, then Online Banking
- Enter your User ID and Password
CIT Bank offers limited account access over the phone. But you will need your personal identification number (PIN) to access your account.

If you forget your username or password, CIT helps you retrieve the information. But first you must provide important information, including:
- Account Number
- First Name
- Last Name
- Last Four Digits of Your Social Security number
If you don't have all of this information, you can call CIT for more help at 1-855-462-2652 and press #3 for assistance.
The customer service representatives must confirm your identity before they release any information. You can also call this number and choose option #5 if you forgot your telephone banking PIN.

CIT Bank offers several ways to contact customer service. But the customer service line often has long wait times, so they recommend that you try to solve your issue through one of the online options first.
If you need to speak to a customer service representative, call 1-855-462-2652. CIT Bank's customer service is available:

Sat: 10 am - 6 pm ET

You'll hear the following options:
- Press #1 if you are a new customer

Opening a New Account With CIT
Start a new account with CIT Bank by clicking Open Account in the right upper corner of their homepage. You'll need the following information to open an account:
- Name(s) on the Account
- Birthdate(s)
- Mother's Maiden Name
- Home Address
- Primary Phone Number
- Email Address
- Social Security Number
- Employer Information
- CIT Bank Promo Code (if applicable)
It takes approximately five to ten minutes to complete and submit the application. Your final step is to make a deposit and finish the account setup.
You may have to verify micro-deposits that CIT sends to your existing account if you send an electronic transfer. Micro-deposits are usually a few cents and help CIT verify that the account information you provided belongs to you.
